The OVME Laser Resurfacing Experience

OVME Laser Resurfacing is a complete skin rejuvenation treatment. After your treatment you will notice improvements to your skin’s tone and texture, decrease in discoloration, reduction in fine lines, reduced pore size, and a next level OVME Laser Resurfacing glow.

Everyone is different. Discuss your needs with your OVME Certified Provider and decide what’s right for you. You may opt for one aggressive treatment or a series of lighter treatments that can yield similar results over a longer period of time.

With a topical anesthetic and the OVME Laser Resurfacing’s integrated cooling technology, most patients experience very little discomfort. Most patients describe the treatment as a feeling of heat with occasional prickling sensations but are generally comfortable. After the treatment, most patients will continue to feel warm for an additional 30 to 60 minutes. Prescription medications are available to minimize discomfort. Please speak to your provider during your initial consultation if this is of interest to you.

Absolutely. For the first 24 hours you should keep your skin protected according to your OVME Certified Provider’s instructions, but after that you should be able to return to your normal activities. After the first 24 hours your skin will begin to shed, but you can wear makeup. After two to three days, you will develop a light bronze hue. By day three or four your skin will peel, revealing your new, glowing skin beneath.

You will see initial results between two and five days after your OVME Laser Resurfacing treatment, but your skin will continue to improve. Most patients see the greatest pigment improvement in the first two to three weeks. This is followed by a dermal regeneration phase that continues to improve for months.

Your OVME Laser Resurfacing results will last for years to come, but you should continue to keep your skin protected at all times using UV sunscreen to protect your new, healthy skin. Each additional OVME Laser Resurfacing treatment will show additional results, giving you even better-looking skin.
