S. Mark McKenna, MD MBA

S. Mark McKenna, MD, MBA is Chief Medical Officer and Founder of OVME Aesthetics. A physician with over 14 years of experience in non-surgical cosmetic procedures, Dr. McKenna is widely recognized as an expert clinician and thought leader in the medical aesthetics industry . He maintains the philosophy that everyone deserves to feel confident in their skin and, with modern treatments, that all people can achieve healthy, radiant skin. Originally from New Orleans, LA, Dr. McKenna graduated from Tulane University Medical School. He later relocated to Atlanta, GA where he launched a wellness and aesthetic based medical practice that was acquired by Life Time Fitness Inc. (NYSE - LTM). He served as National Medical Director at Life Time Fitness Inc. for several years before he became the Chief Medical Officer/Founder of OVME in 2017, which he founded with the goal of reinventing the medical aesthetic landscape. Dr. McKenna is a noted lecturer and teacher, and he has served as an Allergan AMFAST trainer and a Galderma GAIN Business Faculty Member.

Deirdre has spent the past 20 years leading high growth consumer businesses, in both private equity and direct operating roles. She has partnered with founders and CEOs of middle market, high growth, companies in the organic food & beverage, luxury retail, spirits and healthcare industries. Deirdre is a graduate of the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania with a B.S. in Finance. She received an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School.

Ed has spent more than 20 years in Human Resources, focusing on multi-unit consumer businesses from large public brands (Gap, Macy’s, Ann Taylor) to start-up / founder led brands (C. Wonder, Edible Arrangements) and private equity businesses (Burch Creative Capital, Atticus Franchise Group) with direct operating responsibility. He is known for partnering with founders, CEOs, and Brand Presidents to build strong company culture from “hire-to-retire.” Ed studied Psychology at Fordham University, is SHRM-CP Certified, and is a Board Member of SHRM-Atlanta.
Elizabeth Weiler LE, MBA
Director of Education and Development
A licensed aesthetician, certified laser technician, and certified aesthetic consultant, Elizabeth has an extensive background in strategic practice development and 16 years of experience as an advanced service provider and educator in the dermatology, cosmetic surgery and medical aesthetic arenas. Elizabeth is truly passionate about learning and development. In fact, she recently earned her MBA with dual concentrations in both Strategy, Execution, & Valuation and Leadership & Change Management, graduating Summa Cum Laude from DePaul University in Chicago.
Regional Manager, Mid-Atlantic
Emily Plushnick is the regional manager for the Mid-Atlantic OVME Studios. Emily graduated from the University of Maine with a degree in Mass Communication. She began her career in the aesthetics industry in Austin, TX. Emily has experience working in sales, management, and leadership roles within several high-performing aesthetic practices in the United States. She firmly believes in the power of delivering white-glove customer service and providing exceptional care and outcomes to all clients.
Regional Manager, North
Hans Rommel is the Regional Manager for the North OVME Studios. Currently based out of Chicago, IL, he graduated with a degree in Business Administration in Germany before relocating to the US. He has over 15 years of experience in sales, leadership, and operations within high-growth retail across the United States. Hans is convinced that people are a company’s greatest asset, no matter the product. He believes in curating long-lasting relationships with his client and the teams he serves.
Maria Wycoff was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. She has over 15 years of experience in medical practice management, marketing, and operations. Maria believes that for any business to be successful it is absolutely essential to have a highly motivated team with a passion for customer service.
