What Is PRP?

Autologous Platelet-Rich Plasma, also known as PRP, is a high concentration of your own platelets in a small volume of plasma.

Is PRP Right For Me?

Sephyl PRP® is ideally suited for men and women seeking non-surgical hair restoration.  Sephyl PRP® for hair loss works particularly well when combined with prescription hair loss medications, speciality shampoo (Monat), and vitamin supplementation (Nutrafol).  Contact OVME today to schedule a complimentary consultation with an OVME medical aesthetic provider to determine out if Sephyl PRP® is right for you.

PRP FAQ

We’ve compiled a list of the most common questions that OVME receives about PRP

Is PRP Safe?

Since the autologous PRP is produced from a patient’s own blood, there is virtually no risk of an allergic reaction or rejection.

How Many Treatments Will I Need?

The number of treatments you will need depends on your specific treatment goals and desired outcome. Typically, patients receive their desired outcomes after 4-6 treatments. Of course, all patients are different and results are not uniform.

Is PRP Painful?

Sephyl PRP® is close to a physiologic pH, which means it is unlikely to cause a stinging or burning sensation. There may be temporary discomfort and inflammation at the application site, but this normally resolves quickly.
