Vivace Microneedling

The Vivace platform combines microneedling with radio frequency (RF) to stimulate skin tightening, improve skin texture, and minimize fine lines. Simply put, it’s the cutting edge of microneedling technology. The Vivace has also been FDA-cleared for your safety.

Vivace is a microneedling system that is combined with radio frequency energy to stimulate and create skin tightening, texture improvement, and fine line improvement.

Does Microneedling Hurt?

Microneedling isn’t as painful as you may think. A prescription strength numbing cream is applied to the treatment area for 5-10 minutes before the procedure begins. The numbing agent significantly decreases patient discomfort. There may be a few bony areas of the face such as the temples, forehead, and chin that are slightly tender. Patients normally report a sensation of “pressure” during microneedling. The entire procedure takes between 15-20 minutes.

It is also important to note, microneedling will stimulate your body’s production of natural collagen.  Dermal science has proven that collagen synthesis is vital to healthy, glowing skin. Microneedling causes dermal “micro-injuries” that stimulate a team of inflammatory blood cells to migrate to the treatment area and aid in tissue repair which cause new collagen to be produced.

Is Microneedling With PRP (PRP Facial) Safe?

Used on thousands of patients worldwide, the PRP Facial has been shown to be both safe and effective. The PRP Facial contains only autologous components and no severe adverse reactions have been reported (nodules, bumps or granulomas). OVME harvests the PRP directly from your own blood.

The Result?

Firmer, tighter skin. As we age, skin thins and loses volume making it veiny and saggy. Microneedling not only restores volume loss but also minimizes scars and fine wrinkles (think smokers lines and crow’s feet).

Vivace Microneedling FAQ

What Does It Feel Like

Once numbed with a topical anesthetic, the treatment feels like light pressure to the face with an occasional “pinching” feeling.

What Is RF

Radio frequency creates heat that stimulates collagen production which has been found to lead to tighter, younger-looking skin.

What is my recovery time?

The clear, micro-channels created by the Vivace microneedling system remain open for 4-6 hours thus creating an opportunity for serums to penetrate the skin. OVME’s post micro needling recovery protocols optimize results and lead to faster recovery.

How many treatments do I need?

We recommend 3 treatments, spaced 4-6 weeks apart, to provide optimal results. Results can take up to 3 months to see full effect as the process of collagen regeneration increases over time.

How Long Does It Last?

Everyone is different, but the collagen you make is your own and continues accelerated production over 3 months.

What Is PRP?

The healing properties of PRP can be used as a cosmetic treatment for the following: reducing fine lines and wrinkles, tightening/toning skin, and stimulating collagen production.  PRP is applied topically immediately before and after Vivace™ microneedling but can also be injected just below the surface of the skin.

How Is PRP Performed?

The PRP Facial is like a normal facial with microneedling. The treatment areas are numbed using a lidocaine based topical. Active PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma)  is then applied to the face, neck, or chest and microneedled into the skin. After the procedure an additional application of PRP will be placed onto the skin to promote tissue healing. Treatments usually take 40-60 minutes.
