What is Dermal Filler?
When we refer to fillerswe’re talking about Hyaluronic acid fillers acid (HA) which is a sugary, gel-like substance our body produces naturally. In the skin, HA is key for maintaining a more hydrated, plump and youthful appearance. HA fillers are created from a synthetic gel-like form of HA meant to mimic our own body’s natural HA and restore volume or rejuvenate skin when injected.
When can I expect to see results?
Most fillers fill the skin, so they produce immediate — or close to immediate — results. A filler also can stimulate your body to produce collagen, but this takes time.
How long will the effects last?
Hyaluronic acid fillers typically last anywhere from 6 months to 1 year, depending on injection location, technique, and the individual patient’s metabolism. A consultation is the perfect opportunity for us to determine this together.
