Arrive with clean skin and minimal makeup if possible.

Avoid alcohol 24 hours prior to treatment.

Avoid blood-thinning supplements for 1 week prior to treatment if possible. Tylenol may be used if needed.

Stop all herbal supplements several days before treatment. You may take oral Arnica Montana to help reduce swelling and bruising prior to treatment and afterwards.

Avoid salty foods a few days before treatment, as sodium can worsen swelling.

Avoid hair removal treatments such as tweezing or waxing a minimum of 2 days before treatment.

Your Provider will recommend the best treatment plan based on your facial anatomy, aesthetic goals, and how your skin responds throughout the series.

Tell your provider if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, have a history of cold sores or autoimmune conditions.

Sculptra is placed beneath the skin using precise injections.

Your provider will apply a numbing agen to the injected area.

Treatment typically takes 15-60 minutes, depending on your personalized treatment.

At the end of your treatment, your provider will massage the treated area. You will continue this at home for 5 minutes, 5 times a day, for 5 days.

Mild swelling, bruising, or tenderness may occur and typically resolves within a few days.

Massage of treated areas may be recommended following treatment.

Avoid strenuous exercise and alcohol for 24 hours.

To limit bruising and swelling, gently apply ice to the area every 10-15 minutes for 1-2 hours post-treatment.

You may apply makeup and return to your normal skincare regimine 24 hours after treatment.

Limit excessive sun exposure until initial swelling or redness has resolved. SPF 30+ is recommended.

Follow-up is generally scheduled 2 weeks post-treatment.
