RF Microneedling

Do not proceed with treatment if you have sunburn, active skin infections, open lesions, eczema, psoriasis, rashes or irritation in the treatment area.

Contact your studio to cancel or delay your appointment if you have an active cold sore, even if the cold sore is not in the planned treatment area.

Do not proceed with treatment if you’ve had dermal fillers injected within the treatment area in the last 4 weeks.

Avoid excessive sun exposure or tanning before your appointment.

Avoid self-tanning products for at least 2 weeks before treatment

Inform your provider if you:
· Are pregnant or nursing
· Any active implanted devices such as pacemakers and defibrillators, or metal implants in the treatment area
· Have a history of allergy or intolerance to anesthetics, such as lidocaine or Novocain.
· Have a history of keloid scarring
· Have had dermal fillers within the last 4 weeks.
· Have used Accutane®/isotretinoin within the past 12 months
· Are taking medications that affect healing
· Bleeding disorders or concomitant use of blood thinners

A topical numbing cream is applied before treatment to maximize comfort.

Treatment is performed in a gentle stamping motion in multiple passes at varying depths to target both superficial and deeper layers of the skin.

The Vivace® device uses microneedles combined with RF energy to create controlled micro-injuries while delivering heat into deeper skin layers.

You may feel a warming or mild prickling sensation during treatment, but most clients find it well-tolerated with numbing.

A growth-factor-rich serum or PRP may be applied immediately after treatment to enhance results.

Appointments last about 2 hours, including numbing and the treatment procedure.

Avoid sun exposure for at least 3 days post-treatment. After 24 hours, you may use sunscreen or moisturizer with sunscreen (30 SPF or higher).

Avoid exercise or any strenuous activities that cause sweating, increased heart rate, or heating of the skin including swimming, jacuzzi, sauna, hot yoga, or steam baths for 48 hours after treatment.

Use only the skincare products provided or recommended by your provider for the first 24 hours. Avoid all other topical skin care products and makeup for the first 24 hours post-treatment, unless advised by your provider.

Refrain from deep exfoliation, retinols, glycolics, or other products that dry or irritate the skin for 5-7 days post treatment

Makeup may be worn 24–48 hours post-treatment if needed, using clean brushes.

Change your pillowcase nightly and avoid touching skin with unclean hands for at least 48 hours.

Normal reactions may include:
· Redness and warmth
· Mild swelling
· Pinpoint micro-crusting or dryness
