Hydrafacial

To ensure the best results and minimize sensitivity, please follow these guidelines before your Hydrafacial appointment:

One week before the appointment, avoid prolonged or intense sun exposure and use broad-spectrum SPF daily.

Two weeks before the appointment, refrain from chemical peels, laser treatments or waxing.

2-3 days prior to treatment, discontinue use of irritating or exfoliating products (retinol, retinoids, AHAs, BHAs, benzoyl peroxide, scrubs, or brushes) to limit potential irritation.

Day of Treatment
Inform your provider if you:
· Have active cold sores, open wounds, or sunburn
· Are pregnant or breastfeeding
· Have used Accutane/isotretinoin within the past year
· Have upcoming plans for prolonged sun exposure

Additional Important Notes

Wait 2 weeks after Botox or filler before having a Hydrafacial treatment unless otherwise directed by your injector.

Botox or filler may be performed the same day, but only after your Hydrafacial treatment.

Your provider will perform a consultation and skin assessment before treatment to ensure Hydrafacial is safe and appropriate for you.

Your skin will be cleansed and prepped to remove makeup, oil, and debris.

The Hydrafacial device will gently:
· Cleanse and exfoliate dead skin cells
· Extract impurities using painless suction
· Infuse the skin with hydrating and antioxidant-rich serums

Depending on your selected treatment (Express, Deluxe, or Platinum), your service may include:
· Customized booster serums based on your skin concerns.
· Red or Blue LED light therapy
· Lymphatic therapy

The treatment is comfortable and non-invasive.

Treatment time ranges from 30–60 minutes, depending on your selected Hydrafacial type.

Mild redness is normal and typically resolves within a few hours.

Your skin will be freshly exfoliated and highly receptive to skincare. Following proper aftercare will help maintain results and prevent irritation.

First 24 Hours
· Avoid touching, rubbing, or picking at the skin.
· Avoid prolonged sweating, exercise, saunas, or hot yoga.
· Makeup may be applied the same day, but waiting 24 hours is recommended for best results.

Skincare Guidelines

For 24 hours after treatment, avoid:
· Retinol or retinoids
· AHAs, BHAs, benzoyl peroxide
· Physical exfoliants, scrubs, or cleansing brushes

Use:
· Gentle cleanser
· Hydrating serum or moisturizer
· Broad-spectrum SPF daily
· Sun & Lifestyle Care
· Avoid direct sun exposure for 48–72 hours.
· Apply sunscreen daily, even indoors.
· Avoid swimming pools, saunas, and tanning beds for 48 hours.
· Stay well-hydrated by drinking plenty of water.
