Each treatment is customized to your skin’s needs and goals, leaving your skin deeply cleansed, hydrated, and refreshed. To ensure the best results, proper care before and after your DiamondGlow treatment is essential. Here’s everything you need to know to maximize your experience and maintain your glow.

How to Prepare for your DiamondGlow Treatment

Avoid excess sun exposure for 1 week before treatment and use SPF 30 or greater daily to ensure coverage against UVB and UBA rays.

Do not use any type of exfoliants 2 days before treatment.

Refrain from any chemical peels or lasers for at least 2 weeks prior.

Avoid waxing or laser hair removal in the area for 1 week prior to treatment.

Discontinue use of topical medications such as (Renova, Tretinoin, Retin A, Retin A Micro, Tri-Luma, Solage, etc.) at least 2-3 days before treatment.

If you have a history of regular or frequent cold sores, consider beginning prophylactic treatment with Valtrex or similar no later than the day of treatment.

Notify the studio if you have sunburned, chapped, irritated or broken skin, open wounds, active, weeping acne in the area being treated, if you develop a cold sore or experience any type of illness before your treatment.

Wait 2 weeks after Botox and filler treatments to have a DiamondGlow Treatment, or according to your aesthetic injector’s instructions.

Botox and filler may be done on the same day, but only after DiamondGlow treatment.
DiamondGlow and similar treatments may not be safe for pregnant or lactating clients. Clients should refer to their treating physician before considering any treatment.
What to Expect During your DiamondGlow Treatment

The DiamondGlow treatment starts with a thorough cleansing with medical grade products.

Next, your DiamondGlow treatment begins as the patented delivery handpiece glides a diamond tip microdermabrasion across the skin while simultaneously delivering a SkinMedica Pro Infusion serum customized to your skin’s needs.

With each pass, gentle exfoliation and painless removal of blackheads, dirt, oil, and impurities, reveal clearer, brighter skin.

After delivering the entire bottle of SkinMedica Pro Infusion serum, medical grade products for hydrating, plumping, protecting, and nourishing benefits are applied to the skin.

Typical skin responses during treatment may include a scratchy or tingling sensation. Don’t worry, this is temporary!
Post DiamondGlow Treatment Care

Immediately after treatment, normal skin responses may include a feeling of tightness, redness or slight swelling, which is temporary.

Avoid any exfoliation to the area for a minimum of 48 hours post-treatment or longer depending on the intensity of your DiamondGlow.

To keep the area clean and avoid irritation, avoid heat sources, including hot showers, saunas, and cardio workouts that may produce sweat for the remainder of the day of treatment.

You may wash your face the following morning or according to your provider’s instruction, using the products recommended.

Please discuss continuing use of your regular regimen post-treatment with your DiamondGlow provider.

Do not use topical Retin-A for 2 days following treatment, or longer if irritation occurs.

Avoid unprotected sun exposure and/or use of tanning beds for at least 7 days post-treatment.

Use sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher daily for 3-5 days post-treatment.

Makeup may be applied the same day as treatment, but we recommend waiting 24 hours for best results.
